There are other companies that do JUST this, like Pricelabs….sometimes not worth being OK at all things versus REALLY GOOD at a few specific things.
Personally, I see the value from Prohost Ai in mainly the fact that you are combining guest comms with operations. Thats the missing link that I havent’' seen in other ai platforms. You cant really fully automate an STR business with Ai unless those two worlds are connected. If I were you guys, I would focus on being THE BEST at integrating guest comms and operations (task ticketing, Maintenance/cleaning management, internal team communications) using Ai and workflow automations before you start getting into new territory like Ai pricing.
You already offer automated guest upsells, I’d just focus on making it better than what Besty ai offers. Personally, I think your in a better position than Besty ai given that you merge guest comms with operations, which allows the ai to autonomously make more accurate offers when it comes to upselling. No sense in upselling an early check-in if the system doesn’t even know if the cleaner completed the clean yet.

Yea agreed! We view pricing as a very distinct problem to solve that also has a lot of complexity so it’s not really on our roadmap. There’s also several good products out there like Pricelabs.

Sounds like a good decision for now. You never know though where you may be in a few years! Im feeling optimistic that you guys will be pretty big by then, maybe something to consider at that point. Keep up the great work Bill and team!!
