Mandatory photo checklist items are CRITICAL. The way they work on Turno is that when the cleaner goes to check off the specific checklist item, it automatically opens their phone camera and provides us with a timestamped photo. (they typically are not allowed to upload old photos to checklist items that require photos to avoid them from re using photos- must be taken in realtime). If their phone dies or something like that, we allow them to take photos of anything just to complete the clean on the app, and then ask them to upload the photos separately to the cleaning task.
